The Narcotics division identifies both naturally occurring narcotic substances like ganja, opium, mescaline, psilocybin/psilocin and khat, as well as semi-synthetic/synthetic narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursor chemicals in samples referred by the enforcement agencies under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act and allied rules.
