The Instruments division receives and analyses crime exhibits received from all divisions of the main laboratory which need utilizing sophisticated instruments viz., Gas chromatograph(GC), Gas Chromatograph-Mass Spectrometer (GC-MS), High Performance Liquid Chromatograph (HPLC), Inductively Coupled Atomic Emission Spectrometer(ICP-AES), Fourier Transform Infra-Red Spectrometer (FTIR) and Atomic Absorption Spectrometer (AAS).
